I stand by what I said last month - 2018 is going to be another banner year for real estate.

The month of February was busy. There are currently over 300 homes on the market at an average list price of $356,000. In Flower Mound alone there were 132 new homes listed and 89 homes closed during the month of February. 

And with an average days on market of 59 days (including new construction), the Spring market has begun! 

Speaking of New Construction, right now there are over 400 new construction homes permitted here in Flower Mound. So if you thought Flower Mound was just about built out, there are more new homes and new communities to be found all the time!

With the start of March brings the start of the hot Spring market and there is about to be a surge of listings coming on the market for buyers to choose from. Sellers who have been holding onto their properties over the last couple of years may want to consider finally making that move. The relocation market this Spring is going to be ample as well. We have started working with three different relocation clients all in the last two weeks.

The Dallas-Fort Worth area will continue to boast a strong real estate market with the continual creation of new jobs and the relocation of major national headquarters. In 2017, over 1,000 people moved to Texas every day. And Flower Mound has certainly seen the benefits of that!
