Happy Fall y'all! Here's our comprehensive list of all the best Pumpkin Patches and Fall Festivals happening around DFW for Fall 2023.


Goober Bub's

When: Saturday, September 30- Tuesday, October 31; Tuesdays 3:00-6:00pm, Thursdays 3:00-6:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am-6:00pm

For those of you upset about the news of the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch, Goober Bub's is going to be a great alternative for you! This will be their inaugural pumpkin season after becoming a local favorite for strawberry-picking earlier in the year. They'll have pumpkins and gourds available for purchase as well as hay rides and more fun to be announced. We'd recommend following them on Facebook for all the latest updates!

Hall's Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze

When: Friday, September 29-Tuesday, October 31; Closed Mondays & Tuesdays; Wednesdays & Thursdays 3:00-8:00pm; Fridays 3:00-9:00pm; Saturdays 10:00am-9:00pm; Sundays 1:00-8:00pm

Located in historic Grapevine, families from all over the metroplex visit Hall's Pumpkin Farm to enjoy an old fashioned Fall celebration. Hall's Family Farm is one of the last working farms in the area and still houses the original 1930's homestead built by Jess Hall. Hall's Pumpkin Farm has pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, gourds, hay bales and corn stalks. They also have a mind boggling two-acre corn maze and hayrides through the farm pulled by a genuine farm tractor. 


Pumpkins on the Prairie

When: Saturday, September 30-Tuesday, October 31; Mon-Fri 1:00-7:00pm; Saturday 10:00am-7:00pm; Sunday 10:30am-7:00pm

Cost: FREE 

Visit Pumpkins on the Prairie this year where you can enjoy all of the activities and photo ops for free! Hay rides, face painting, bounce houses, a pumpkin play area, food trucks, and more.

They're also hosting a few special events this season including a Craft Night and a Fall Festival on October 29 complete with trunk-or-treating.


Shadow Creek Pumpkin Farm

When: Saturday, September 30-Sunday, October 29; Saturdays 10:00am-6:00pm, Sundays 1:00-6:00pm

Where: 1530 Indian Creek Dr, Midlothian TX 76065

Cost: Unlimited Fall Fun Daily Admission $17/person; 2 years old and under is FREE; Seniors, Veterans, First Responders $15

Your Day Pass entitles you to one whole day of UNLIMITED corn maze entrances, hay rides, animal barnyard experiences, hay hill slides, GIANT jump pad bounces, photo ops, see saws, barrel train rides, large yard games, pumpkin tic tac toe, squirrel cage races, pumpkin bowling, hay pyramid climbs, and more! There will also be “a la carte” options for guests including axe throwing and “cannon adventures”!


Autumn at the Arboretum

When: Now-Sunday, November 5; Daily from 9:00am-5:00pm 

Where: Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, 8525 Garland Rd, Dallas TX 75218

Cost: $20/Adult; $12/Children (2-12); $16/Senior (65 & Over); Children 2 & under FREE

We absolutely love this year's theme which is "It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown™." During your visit, you'll see 100,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash, hailing from THE pumpkin capital of Texas, Floydada, and 150,000 beautiful fall blooming plants throughout the garden. This year’s theme ‘features the return of the Peanuts Gang, along with themed pumpkin houses that make up the acclaimed Pumpkin Village, and of course, a maze for younger visitors.


Pumpkin Nights

When: Thursday, September 21-Monday, October 30; 6:00-11:00pm

This isn't your typical pumpkin patch but boy is it cool! Visit Pumpkin Nights for a Halloween experience filled with bewitching art, thrilling fire shows, and over 7,500 hand-crafted pumpkin displays. You can visit all the different pumpkin lands like the Enchanted Forest, Neon Reef, and The Great Hall.


Yesterland Farm

When: Saturday, September 23-Sunday, November 5; See Website for Specific Hours

Where: Yesterland Farm, 15410 Interstate 20, Canton TX 75103

Basic admission at Yesterland Farm gets to you access to all kinds of fun including the farm attractions and UNLIMITED Amazement Park rides including Pirates Revenge and the Texasaurus coaster. Some of the farm attractions you'll find are wagon train rides, pony rides, an apple cannon, and a corn maze. 

If you want to stick around after dark in October, you can enjoy their Spooktacular Nights where they'll have Swamp Zombie Paintball and Chuckle's Fun House.


Team Family Farms

When: Saturday, September 30-Sunday, November 5; 10:00am-7:00pm

Where: Team Family Farms, 1042 W Sherman Dr, Aubrey TX 76227

Cost: $12/Person Ages 2+ on Weekdays; $16/Person Ages 2+ on Saturdays & Sundays

Team Family Farms in Aubrey is the perfect Fall Rustic Wonderland in the Country where the kids can enjoy barrel train rides, feed farm animals, and enjoy the playgrounds and hay maze. There are also plenty of photo opportunities and, of course, pumpkins for purchase!
