The ninth annual North Texas Giving Day takes place tomorrow, September 14th. If you're not familiar with this event, it has generated $156 million for the community over the past 8 years. Last year's event alone raised $37 million.

The entire goal of the event is to build awareness and support for nonprofits in the North Texas region.

You can donate to any of the participating nonprofits from 6:00am-Midnight tomorrow. In addition to the online event, Communities Foundation of Texas and a few other nonprofits will host donation stations (find donation station locations here).

The Denton Donation Station, celebrating Denton County Nonprofits, will be at the Denton Square from 5:00-8:00pm tomorrow and will feature more than 50 nonprofits as well as children's activities, Beth Marie's ice cream and a "Battle of the Bands" contest broadcast from the LSA Burger rooftop stage.

This year, North Texas Giving Day is especially focused on helping the victims of Hurricane Harvey. They have set up profiles for you to donate to both the Mass Care Task Force and CFT's Relief and Recovery Fund, which will help with both short and long-term recovery.
