We have fond memories around here of going to Christmas tree farms the day after Thanksgiving to cut down our very own Christmas tree. And it may surprise you to hear that there are lots of places around and just outside of DFW where you can go buy fresh-cut trees or even cut down your own!

They also have a country store where you can enjoy hot chocolate, popcorn, wreath-making demonstrations, and a selection of toys and t-shirts for purchase.
