Checking out holiday light displays is the perfect social-distanced activity to participate in this holiday season. Here are some of the best you can find in DFW this year!
Drive Thru Displays
Dallas Zoo Lights
Where: Dallas Zoo

Dallas Zoo Lights is back as a drive-thru experience the whole family can enjoy this year. This year's drive-through experience includes one million twinkling lights, elaborate holiday-themed displays, dazzling 3-D lighted sculptures, and larger-than-life animal lanterns. And NEW this year is an immersive video projection mapping that will transform select areas along the path and a bigger, brighter Reliant Holiday Village at the end of the drive-through experience!
Radiance - A Holiday Light Spectacular

Radiance Light Show offers scenes made up of more than one million lights! And this year they've added a new event, Frozen, where you can experience an outdoor carnival with ice tubing hills, ice skating, snowballs, a ferris wheel, train, and more.
Magic of Lights

Magic of Lights showcases some of your favorite holiday scenes and characters using the latest LED technology and digital animations. They do recommend you consider visiting on a weekday as opposed to a weekend or holiday as wait times can get long!
Prairie Lights
Where: Lynn Creek Park, Grand Prairie
When: Through December 31, 2021
Price: $40/car
Prairie Lights is probably one of the most well-known drive-thru light experiences in DFW! The Holiday Village has returned after taking a year off in 2020, so midway through your drive-through experience you can hop out of your car and explore the magical forest, carnival rides, and photos with Santa. Enjoy all the holiday scenes along the way and then end the experience with their new and improved light tunnel - the perfect finale!
Gift of Lights
Where: Texas Motor Speedway
When: Through January 2, 2022
Price: $30-$35/car
Drive through millions of sparkling lights at Texas Motor Speedway this year. It takes about 45 minutes-an hour to drive through the whole experience and you can also get out to visit Santa's Village where you can visit with Santa and purchase concessions.
Immersive Experiences
Mission: Save Christmas ft. Elf™

The Gaylord is bringing back an immersive experience for you this year featuring fan favorite Buddy the Elf™. Complete fun-filled challenges to power the Kringle 3000 and Santa's sleigh. There are more than a dozen interactive experiences for you to enjoy in this multi-sensory, immersive attraction!
City Hall Light Show Spectacular
Where: Downtown Grapevine
When: Through January 9, 2022

Every evening through January 9 you can visit Old Town Grapevine to see the choreographed, twinkling lights on City Hall. While you're in Grapevine, we'd also recommend you visit the Singing Christmas Tree and Picture Perfect at the Plaza with its oversized Christmas presents making the perfect photo op.
Christmas in the Square
Where: Frisco Square, 8830 Coleman Blvd, Frisco TX 75034
When: Through January 2, 2022
Price: Free
Christmas at the Square in Frisco is home to the largest choreographed light show in North Texas. With the show beginning every night at 6:00pm, you can visit and enjoy the more than 175,000 lights from the comfort of your car or while walking around the Square. This year's event also includes an outdoor ice skating rink and a Christmas tree lot.
Holiday at the Arboretum
Where: Dallas Arboretum
When: Through December 31, 2021
Price: Included with Arboretum Admission
Stroll through the Arboretum to enjoy each of the 25-foot gazebos decorated to reflect the 12 days of Christmas. At night, the gardens get a glow-up with over one million lights. You can also visit the Christmas Village, see Santa Claus, shop, eat and more!
Vitruvian Lights
Where: Vitruvian Park, 3966 Vitruvian Way, Addison TX

This time of year, Vitruvian Park transforms into a magical holiday wonderland! Tree lights will be on daily until January 2 from 5:00-11:00pm.
