Foodie Friday DFW: Celebrating 25 Years of Bistecca
We know what a big deal it is to celebrate being in business 25 years - we just did it ourselves last Fall! So we were honored to attend the 25-Year Celebration for Bistecca/The Grotto last Sunday where Chef Morris Salerno honored the employees who have helped him over the last 25 years.
When they first opened here in Highland Village, they were one of only about four restaurants in the area and have loved seeing all the growth happen around them.
And while The Grotto/Bistecca has been a part of the community for 25 years, Chef Morris has been working in the kitchen for nearly 40 years perfecting his craft of delivering delicious, made-from-scratch dishes honoring his family's heritage.
They have consistent favorites on their menu like the Steak Salerno, but also change the menu up every season and offer nightly specials like a Pistachio-Crusted Halibut (which was apparently such a big hit, it will probably end up on the permanent menu).
Bistecca's CFO, Stacey Miller, has been with them from the beginning and reflected on what an honor it has been to work with Chef Morris and to serve their customers for over two decades.
We love coming to Bistecca for special events like their Valentine's Sweetheart Dinner, the Super Bowl Watching Party or even our Company Christmas Party. It's also a great option for date night, business dinners, or just a fun night out with the family.
Keeping up the consistency for 25 years isn't easy, but Chef Morris and his team have mastered the art and that's why they are still such an integral part of our community.
So, go visit Chef Morris soon and congratulate him and his team on an amazing 25 years. Here's to 25 more!
