June 2021 Happenings

It's almost June, so it's time to start thinking of all those fun Summer activities! Here's a peek at what's happening in Flower Mound, Highland Village, and Lewisville this month.

Flower Mound

Thursday, June 3 @ 2 p.m. and 3:15 p.m: Daniel G. Benes Science Show at the Flower Mound Public Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane. 

Friday, June 4 @ 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.: Spring Fling benefiting Carter Blood Drive at 2960 Long Prairie Road, Flower Mound. Includes face painting, popcorn, snow cone, and cotton candy machine, raffles, swag giveaways, and meet and greet with Marty Turco 

Saturday, June 5 @ 9:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m.: Chalk the Walk Art Contest from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Heritage Park, 600 Spinks Rd. 

Thursday, June 10 @ 2:00 pm & 3:15 pm: Professor Pop Bubble Show at the Flower Mound Public Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane 

Saturday, June 12 @ 7:00am-7:00pm: Community Activity Center 13th Birthday Bash at CAC Outdoor Water Park, 1200 Gerault Road  (Entry with paid admission to CAC)

Saturday, June 12 @ 9:00 a.m. -10:30 a.m. : US Lacrosse TryLax Clinic at Gerault Park – North Field, 1200 Gerault Road. For ages 6-14 who have never played lacrosse. Spots are limited. Register at flowermoundlacrosse.org 

Monday, June 14 @ 7:00 am - 8:30 pm: Austin Reptile Show Walkthrough from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Flower Mound Public Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane. 

Saturday & Sunday, June 19 & 20 @  11:00 am - 5:00 pm: Market Days at Circle R Ranch: Father’s Day Celebration at Circle R Ranch, 5901 Cross Timbers Rd. On Sunday, June 20, Dad’s get in free! Includes live music, kid’s activities, shopping, and more 

Thursday, June 24 @ 2:00 pm & 3:15 pm: John O’Bryant’s Reading is Magic at the Flower Mound Public Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane. 

Friday, June 25 @ 7:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m.: Dive-In Movie (movie TBD) from 7 to 9 p.m. at Community Activity Center Indoor Pool, 1200 Gerault Road. Activities are FREE with paid admission 

Highland Village

Tuesday, June 1 @ 6:00pm  : Celebrate Highland Village @ Copperas Branch Ranch

Wednesday, June 9 @ 7:00 Pm - 9:00 Pm: Music Bingo at The Brass Tap Music Bingo combines your favorite tunes throughout the decades, with a classic game, in a great atmosphere! 

Lewisville

Tuesday, June 1 @ 7:00-9:30pm: Sounds of Lewisville Concert Series 

Saturday, May 19 @ 8:00-9:30pm: Dad Jokes: An Evening of Stand-Up Comedy
