NYE 2023 Celebrations in Dallas-Fort Worth (Adult and Kid Friendly)

2022 has been an eventful and interesting year for us. We think many of you could probably say the same! The start of a new year is always exciting to us - the prospect of helping more people with their investments in real estate, setting new goals, and exploring new places. 

If you'd like to give 2022 a proper send-off and welcome 2023 in style, here are some of the best New Year's events happening in Dallas-Fort Worth (both kid- and adult-friendly).

Kid-Friendly

Noon Year's Eve (Dallas)

Where: Dallas Arboretum, Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden

When: Saturday, December 31st, 2022 @ 9:00am-4:00pm

Cost: FREE with Admission

Visit the Celebration Stations where you can make party hats and noise makers and write down your 2023 Hopes and Dreams. They'll have a Flower Ball Drop at noon. And there will be festival games like giant chess and checkers, giant inflatable bowling, and ring toss.

Noon Year's Eve (Fort Worth)

Where: Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

When: Saturday, December 31st, 2022 @ 10:00am-12:00pm

Cost: FREE with Admission

Learn about different New Year traditions at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Create party poppers, make a “Noon” Year’s Eve resolution, and learn about the animals of the new year. Then you can ring in the “Noon” year at 12pm!

Zoo Year's Eve

Where: Fort Worth Zoo

When: Saturday, December 31st, 2022 @ 6:00pm-9:00am

Cost: $100 per child

If you want your kids gone for the whole night, let them ring in the new year at the wildest place in town! They can enjoy a whole night at the Zoo with a movie, crafts, a night hike through the park, and a continental breakfast. Is there an adult version of this too??

Countdown to Noon Party

Where: Frisco Discovery Center, Sci-Tech Discovery Center

When: Saturday, December 31st, 2022 @ 10:00am-3:00pm

Cost: $15 for nonmembers; $12 for Sci-Tech members; Timed tickets required

Check out some awesome activities and experiments like a Light Writing Photo Room, dry ice sparkling juice, DIY firework sparklers, noisemakers, and a light-up circuit New Year's hat. They'll have timed electric ball drops at 11:00am, Noon, 1:00pm, and 2:00pm.

EPIC New Year's Eve

Cost: $39 for guests over 48 inches tall; $34 for guests under 48 inches

Imagine a New Year’s Eve party complete with circus and aerial performances, hula dancing, interactive games, and much more.

Over the Top NYE 2023

For the seventh year, Reunion Tower and Hunt Realty Investments, Inc. are bringing a Texas-sized New Year’s Eve event to Dallas. The fireworks spectacular benefits Children’s Health via the Reunion Tower NYE Foundation. Reunion Tower Over The Top NYE is the only 360-degree, panoramic fireworks spectacular in the Central time zone and will light up the Dallas sky starting at 11:59 p.m. CDT on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2022.

They encourage you to view the show from any vantage point in the surrounding area or from home online or on TV with NBC 5.

New Year's Eve with Dallas Symphony Orchestra

Where: Meyerson Symphony Center

When: Saturday, December 31, 2022 @ 7:30pm

Cost: Tickets from $40

The Dallas Symphony’s tribute to the Viennese tradition returns to the Meyerson. Toast the New Year with lively waltzes from the Strauss dynasty, honoring the most prestigious of New Year’s musical traditions.

New Year's Eve Disco at Legacy Hall

Go to disco heaven at DFW's premier New Year's Eve event at Legacy Hall with three floors of live entertainment, 5+ craft bars, and a HUGE midnight celebration!

Select eateries will open for delicious late night bites. Enjoy live music from The Rich Girls from 8PM - 10PM in the Lexus Box Garden.

Fort Worth

New Year's Eve Party Ft. Randy Rogers Band

Where: Billy Bob's Texas, 2520 Rodeo Plz, Fort Worth TX 76164

When: Saturday, December 31st, 2022 @ 8:00pm

Cost: Tickets starting at $30 for General Admission

The Randy Rogers Band is heading to Billy Bob's in Fort Worth to help you ring in the new year. The show officially starts at 8:00pm with Todd Stewart on the Honky Tonk Stage and then the Randy Rogers Band will hit the Main Stage at 10:00pm. While you’re there, you can also check out the Honky Tonk Kitchen, Billy Bob’s gift store, and the Handprint Wall of Fame.

New Year's Eve Live!

If you've never been to Texas Live! in Arlington, it's a party on any given weekend, so we can only imagine how much fun it will be for New Year's Eve. Enjoy various restaurants, bars, and nightclubs; live entertainment; party favors; champagne toasts; and a Countdown to Midnight complete with a “Times Square” Ball Drop.

New Year's Eve with Four Day Weekend in Fort Worth

Where: Four Day Weekend Comedy Theater, 312 Houston St, Fort Worth TX 76102

Cost: $110 per person

These guys are old friends of mine and I always love an opportunity to see them perform!
