Flower Mound's Concerts in the Park
Every Friday in May, the Town of Flower Mound is hosting their Concerts in the Park series at Heritage Park. You can bring your own cooler or purchase food and concessions from one of the food trucks on-hand! All concerts will begin at 7:00pm.
Also every Friday in Flower Mound is the Lakeside Music Series in the center plaza at Lakeside DFW. Grab some food from one of the many great restaurants located in the Shops and/or head over to the Moviehouse & Eatery for a movie after the concert's over. All concerts are from 7:30-9:30pm.
2019 "Sounds of Lewisville" Concert Series
Back by popular demand is the "Sounds of Lewisville" Concert Series which has been a local family favorite since 1991. The Series will present 9 shows at Wayne Ferguson Plaza in the heart of Old Town Lewisville. The concerts will start at 7:00pm every Tuesday in June and July. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for seating. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
Denton's Twilight Tunes Concert Series
The Denton Main Street Association hosts this award-winning concert series every Spring from April-June. Join them every Thursday at 6:30pm to enjoy an evening of live music and a view of the sunset over downtown Denton. Plus you can make a whole fun evening out of it by visiting any of the awesome eateries down there.
Gather up your blankets and chairs and head to Andrew Brown Park East on Friday, July 26th for a free outdoor movie! No word yet on what the movie is, but there will also be activities for the whole family to enjoy and food trucks!

Rooftop Movie Night at Sundown at Granada
Rooftop movie nights are back! Join them every Wednesday through July 18th at 8:30pm on their covered patio to sip on some tasty cocktails and watch some classic films like Clueless, Pulp Fiction, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. And yes, it's free!
Carrollton's Parks and Recreation Department invites you to the Rosemeade Rainforest Aquatic Complex on July 19 for their annual poolside movie night. An admission fee is required and varies based on whether you're a resident or non-resident.
Vitruvian Nights Live at Vitruvian Park in Addison
Vitruvian Nights Live returns to the beautiful Amphitheater at Vitruvian Park starting June 13 and continuing every other Thursday until August 8. The concerts go from 7:00-9:30pm and will also have food trucks and outdoor games.
Fort Worth Area
Sundance Square: Movie Night in Sundance Square Plaza
One of my favorite places to head in the Metroplex is Sundance Square. There are so many delicious restaurants and fun places to visit down there. And every Thursday from June 6-July 25 they'll be screening movies in the plaza. Movies will begin around at approximately 8:30pm and you can purchase drinks and food at any of the restaurants in the Plaza. This year they're showing movies like Black Panther and Spider Man: Into the Spider-Verse!
Concerts in the Garden at Fort Worth Botanic Garden
If you've never been, you really need to buy tickets to one of the Concerts in the Garden at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden put on by the Fort Worth Symphony. Relax under the stars while listening to great music. The Garden Summer Music Festival offers 14 different concerts through June and July culminating in their Star Wars & Beyond Sci-Fi Laser Light Spectacular which takes place July 5-7.
Keller Summer Nights at Keller Town Hall
If you want a concert AND a movie, check out Keller's Summer Nights series happening every Thursday in June. The live music will start at 7:30pm and the movies will start somewhere around 9:00pm.
