Did you see our list of the best Pumpkin Patches to visit in DFW this year? In addition to that list, we also wanted to put together a list of other kid-friendly events that are happening throughout the Metroplex this October.

Pumpkin Fest

Grapevine || Fridays-Sundays October 6-22, 2023

Come fall in love with Meadowmere Park with all of the fall festivities you expect to find at a full pumpkin patch including photo opportunities and much more! During your visit be sure to stop by Jakes Cakes for a delicious funnel cake, freshly squeezed lemonade, iced cold tea, or all three.

Pumpkin Hollow

Little Elm || October 14-16, 2023

Pumpkin Hollow at Little Elm Park has rightfully become a beloved annual event in the community. The 3-day event has a little bit of everything including a carnival, haunted trail, and lighted pumpkin trail featuring hundreds of pumpkins.

FREE ADMISSION to the event, they only ask that you bring a non-perishable item for The Roanoke Food Pantry to help those in need throughout the holiday season.

Grandscape is hosting a trick-or-treat event this year with stations throughout the complex as well as face painting and palm reading. All events are free, but keep in mind that lines will be cut off once capacity has been reached so you might want to get there early!

Pumpkin Nights

Howell Farms, Arlington || Now-October 30, 2023

At Pumpkin Nights you'll get to venture through their six magical pumpkin-themed lands, watch live pumpkin carving, enjoy a variety of delicious food from local food vendors, and dig for buried treasure in Pirate Cove. 

Autumn at the Arboretum

Dallas Arboretum || Now-November 5, 2023

This year's theme for Autumn at the Arboretum is  "A Fall Fairy Tale" featuring 100,000 pumpkins, gourds, and squash throughout the garden. There's a Cinderella's carriage and pumpkin houses making up the notorious Pumpkin Village. Other displays portray the stories of Jack & The Beanstalk, The Three Little Pigs, The Sword in the Stone and One Thousand and One Nights.
